Outdoor and Nature Activities
Joshua Tree National Park: Obviously a must-visit, with tons of iconic rock formations, scenic trails, and those famous Joshua trees. Great for hiking and stargazing.
Hidden Valley Nature Trail: A super accessible and relatively easy loop trail that’s great for all skill levels. It’s about a mile long and showcases some of the park’s classic landscapes.
Barker Dam Trail: Another nice, easy hike about 1.3 miles round trip. You might even catch some bighorn sheep or see the old dam if there’s been rain.
Giant Rock: This is a really fascinating spot in Landers. It’s one of the largest free-standing boulders in the world and has a ton of quirky history tied to it. Definitely a cool local landmark for guests who love unique natural wonders.
Cholla Cactus Garden: A unique spot about a 20-minute drive from the main Joshua Tree entrance. It’s especially stunning at sunrise or sunset.

Giant Rock Meeting Room: A great spot with a cozy bar, creative atmosphere and outdoor patio where they sometimes have live bands playing
The Copper Room: A very vibey spot that has incredible interiors with a beautiful long bar and plenty of seating
Joshua Tree Coffee Company: If your guests are coffee lovers, they’ll probably enjoy the locally roasted beans here. It’s a nice little place to grab a cup and hang out.
La Copine: A huge favorite for fresh, inventive dishes. They have a seasonal menu and a cool desert vibe.

Noah Purifoy Outdoor Desert Art Museum: An open-air museum with really interesting large-scale sculptures made from found objects. It’s definitely a unique stop.
Joshua Tree Saloon: Kind of a classic spot in town for a laid-back meal, some live music, and a real Old West feel.
Integratron: This is a cool, one-of-a-kind sound bath dome in nearby Landers. People love it for a relaxing, meditative experience. Definitely something unique to mention.
Pioneertown: A little old Western-style town that’s actually a fun spot to visit. They’ve got the famous Pappy & Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace, which is a legendary music venue and barbecue joint.
